Magneto is the master of magnetism, but he fears good table manners

X-Men # 4 is in store now, and Bleeding Cool Rumormonger-in-Chief Rich Johnston devoted one of his weekly comic book spoiler articles to all about Professor Xavier and his hippie dream of humans and mutants peacefully coexisting, blah blah blah blah blah. But Rich missed the biggest story in the book, which is that mutants have totally different ideas than humans do about what constitutes good table manners, or that Magneto just doesn’t have any at all.

Just watch this scene from X-Men # 4, where Magneto explains to a table of diplomats how mutants intend to conquer the world without ever firing a single shot.

Horrible, isn’t it ?! Magneto spoke while chewing all the time! We don’t know what’s going on in Krakoa, but if this new mutant society is one where people chew with their mouths open and talk with their mouths full, maybe it’s time to bring in the Sentinels!

X-Men # 4 is in store now.
